KYVL will be closed Monday, Sept 5th, in observance of Labor Day.
The variety of book discussion kits KDLA has available is incredible! You can request them for your school activities through your public library. Take a look.
New passwords are in place! Any of our members with email domains we have on file can use the Request Password form.

Public libraries - if you have an email that is unique, such as hccpl.org, you can use the form. If it's something like srtc.com or icloud.com or gmail.com, you will need to contact us please.
SSO districts - you can still use this & give the login to families. Students & staff will use their school email & password. And if you are not SSO yet, get in touch

Greetings!
As folks are coming back and getting in the mindset for school to start, be thinking about single sign-on to too.
We do usually issue passwords in July but we are pushing hard to get our member school districts to set up single sign-on. Once it is set up, students and everyone in the district will use their school email and password to sign into KYVL.org when away from the school network.
Please pass on this information to your CIO or DTC. Takes about 5 minutes on each end. We currently have about 30 districts set up. It goes pretty smoothly. We can do Google and Microsoft SSO.
Share this short guide with your DTC on how to pull the metadata we need to set up .

We also offer free training. I could come down on a district PD day and do 3 sessions for elementary, middle and high teachers. We can also set up online training.
One of the great things about is that all the content can be linked to and the links put wherever they are needed for students, faculty, etc. We have content for professional interests as well as students.
Email us if you have questions.

Looking for journals and magazines? We've got many! This is just a snip from a workshop later this summer showing how to link to resources. This is just a sample of what's in KYVL collections.
KYVL will be closed Monday, July 4th.
SSO w/MS & Google is here for public school districts. A DTC or CIO can watch this tutorial and send us the file needed.
