📣 COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT — HELP US OPEN HENDRIX HOUSE

Franklin County Women's Shelter, aka Fresh Start, is thrilled to share exciting news with our community: we have acquired an adjacent property, which will operate as Hendrix House — a dedicated shelter. In memory of baby Hendrix, Fresh Start will provide vital education to young mothers and prospective mothers in our program and community on Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID, formerly known as SIDS).

This is more than a house — Hendrix House represents hope, healing, and a future for some of our community's most vulnerable families. But we need YOUR help to open our doors.

🛏️ FURNITURE NEEDED TO GET US READY:
We are seeking donations of new or like-new items, including:

• 3 sets of bunk beds OR 6 twin beds
• Couch & loveseat
• Dining room table with 6 chairs
• Sets - Chest of drawers

15 passenger bus to help get clients to appointments etc

Towels, washcloths and household items, personal hygiene etc.

Every single item donated brings us one step closer to welcoming the mothers and children who need us most. A bed is not just a bed — it is a safe place to rest after an exhausting journey. A dining room table is not just furniture — it is where a family rebuilds.

With our new community partnership, we are expanding our outreach, requiring greater capacity to store bulk donations safely. These chest freezers are critical to transforming our logistical capability, ensuring no food goes to waste and that more families receive the support they need. Please reach out if you have any freezers.
