His sacrifice is a testament to the biblical truth that ‘Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.’ In this time of sorrow, may God’s grace provide strength and peace to those grieving. We honor Joshua’s courage, and his memory will remain a beacon of devotion to duty.

According to WRIL, Senator Johnnie L. Turner is being flown out for medical treatment following a serious accident involving a lawn mower that Turner was operating at his home in the Sukey Ridge area.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting with Bardstown residents as we honored the heroic first responders and the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. Their courage and sacrifice will forever stand as a testament to the strength of the American spirit. Thank you to Representative Candy Massaroni and all the volunteers who coordinated such a powerful event.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. On September 11, 2001, the fires of terror sought to break us, but from the ashes, America rose stronger.

We honor the nearly 3,000 souls lost, the fearless first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless men and women in uniform who continue to defend our way of life. We will never forget. We will always honor. And we will forever stand as one nation, under God, indivisible.

Julie and I are deeply saddened by the reports coming out of the Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Violence has no place in our political discourse. Such acts threaten our Republic and must be condemned. We pray for President Trump, the patriots in attendance, and the brave Secret Service and law enforcement officers who responded at the scene. We also pray for the safety of President Biden and his family during these dangerous times.
