Hello, . This week has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for helping our community. Here's an update of what's needed…

Top Needs:

➡️ Boys Underwear, size 6-16

➡️ Boys Socks

➡️ Plastic Totes and Newspaper

➡️ Industrial heavy duty trash bags

➡️ Heavy Duty dust masks

Volunteers… you know the drill. We will be onsite tomorrow 9:30am-6pm. Come anytime to help us sort and organize donations.

Flood Victims… stop by and shop for what you need or text/call 502-229-3307 and we will deliver if we can!

Updates… We will be open on Saturday for donations, volunteers and families to shop. More information coming soon. Our pop up donation center will be closed on Sunday so that our staff can enjoy some rest before we keep going next week. We aren't going anywhere! We know this will be a long journey and we are here for what's needed.

We have updated needs list here- we are starting to help families move, clean and organize so we have added some new items.

Volunteers… needed for 231 E Main Street on Thursday anytime between 9am-6pm to accept donations, assist families and fold/sort clothing items. Kids are welcome to come with you!

Volunteers also needed at one of the hotels to assist in programs for kids. Please reach out if you are interested in this.

Donations… accepted anytime between 10am-6pm. Please see the list of needs. We are still paused on clothing as we have a bunch to sort out. We will be doing this for the long haul- we aren't going anywhere and we will need more clothes later on.

Families in need… call or text 502-229-3307 anytime and we will gather what you need and help however we can. Delivery is available.

Here is an updated list of a variety of resources available to those who need:

- Anderson County Health Department - ATTENTION!
Tetanus vaccine is available free of charge for anyone exposed to flood waters. No appointment necessary.

- Art Alley & Frame Clinic - is able to restore art work and photos if needed! Please reach out to them through facebook.

- United Way of the Bluegrass - if you or anyone you know is in need of assistance, dial 211 (available 24/7) - If that number doesn't work, please dial (866) 362-6211. **Due to high call volumes, there may be a wait or a call back option**

- BG 127 Truckstop - If there is anyone in need to park their vehicles in an emergency situation please feel free to utilize our parking lot, or stop by if you are in need of a hot meal at 1999 Harrodsburg Road.

- Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church - Diaper distribution tonight, Monday April 7, from 6-7 pm. Please come in one at a time. Thanks!

- Best Western Lawrenceburg Inn - is offering half off their nightly rates and waiving all pet fees during this time.

- Commonwealth Rents - Has several vacant storage buildings that I would like to offer to anyone needing to move items to save from flood damage. Located at 127 N and Hilltop.

- Anderson County Dept of Public Safety - Water will be handed out for Anderson County citizens that have been impacted by the flood. Water will be handed out between 11am-7pm today at 1500 Maintenance Drive, this is the location for drive thru voting. Anderson County EOC is open and able to assist if you have an immediate need. Please call 502-839-7378.

- Dig -N- Doze Excavating LLC - I would like to offer my excavating services free of charge to anyone affected by the flooding or wind damage in the Lawrenceburg area.

- Eddie Carey has offered a lot that is being prepped to accept 20-30 campers. If you have a camper and need a place to set up to escape flooding, please let us know and we will put you in touch. He will have fresh gravel and electric.

- ToyBurg - has baby bassinets, domes, and jumpers available to those in need. As well as a semi truck and driver ready to assist wherever needed. If you would like to utilize their truck for your needs, please reach out to us at the Chamber and we would be happy to arrange their services.

- LoveBig - If you or your family have been displaced due to flooding or if you know of a family that has been displaced, please direct message us if you need clothing.

- Clayton Denny Clays Ground Services LLC - If anyone in Anderson County is in need of assistance after all this flooding and storms has come to an end, I am going to offer FREE services next week to anyone in emergent need. I will have a skid steer and excavator available to help with whatever I'm able to do. If you or your family is in need or you know aomeone in need, please reach out to me. - Saffell House Funeral Home - Anderson County community, we want you to know how deeply we care. We continue to pray for our community and are here for you in every way we can be. If you or someone you know is in need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether it’s offering support, guidance, or helping connect you with resources—we’re here to walk with you.

- Hilbert & Wells - They are offering excavation services to those in need, as well as debris removal. Please reach out to John Wells at (502)598-1839 or Mitchell Hilbert at (502)598-9421

- LIFE House for Animals - 1. Our meet and greet play yard will be open to the public Monday-Thursday 1-4pm the weeks of April 7 and April 14th for our displaced fur babies to have some nice, private, off leash running space! *please supervise your dog, not for drop off.
2. We will offer any necessary supplies to those displaced with their dog or cat. Need food, collars, leashes, nail trims, bowls, blankets, etc. Give us a call or message us here.
3. Your fur baby need a bath? M-Thursday 1-4pm, feel free to stop in and use our grooming room to bath and dry your dog or cat. It's self service!
4. We are working in connection with Ethan's Rescue Pet Project as a drop off point for supply donations. You can ship items to 14 Fido Court, Frankfort, Ky. 40601 or drop off donated items to the same address. If no one answers the door, feel free to leave items on the front porch marked Ethan's.
5. Our Love for a LIFETime Help Fund may be able to help with boarding expenses while displaced. Email is at [email protected] or text 502-229-3109 for immediate assistance.

Cleaning supplies: Bleach, Clorox and Clorox wipes, Pine Sol, any other disinfectants, towels and paper towels, scrub brushes, trash bags.
