The Village of Frankfort Municipal Office will be closed on Friday, June 19th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, June 22nd from 10:00AM-3:00PM.

Outside of office hours, payments can be made in the night deposit box located on the rear (alley side) of the building or online at allpaid.com with the location code A0020N. See less

Kids under 18 can receive FREE lunch at the Frankfort library Monday-Friday from 1:00-1:30PM courtesy of Ross County Community Action(Official). Kids must be present to receive their meals.

📣STREETSCAPE PROJECT UPDATE📣

Things are moving along!

*The alleys that are included in the project will be receiving the topcoat of asphalt during the next week.

*The playground construction has begun and for the next couple of weeks we will see that coming to its completion. We do ask that if you are in the park, please stay out of the roped-off areas. This past weekend some of the site was tampered with. Please stay off, it is a construction site. The ball fields and the shelter house are still available.

*Thursday, June 4th, paving will begin on Main Street from Railroad Street (the water plant area) to North Main Street (Main & High area). We ask that all vehicles be parked off the street and in the rear of your property until completion. This process will take several days. Thank you for your cooperation!

*The pavers in the sidewalk on Main Street should also be arriving and installed within the next two weeks.

Again, thank you to the entire community for your patience. We know that it seems to be a slow process, but as with any improvement project be it infrastructure upgrades to home improvement things come up that need to be addressed causing slight delays and or additional work.

Happy Memorial Day, everyone! This is a reminder that the food pantry will be on Wednesday this week, May 27th, from 9am to Noon at Old Town Heritage Church. All Ross County residents are welcome.

“What are they building at the end of High Street?”

It’s the Warrior Wellness Center! This grant-funded project from Adena Local School District is slated to open this summer. We are so excited for all the amazing things it will bring to our village community!

There is currently some emergency work necessary to replace a fire hydrant in the village. Residents in the village may experience some water discoloration. If you do experience discoloration, leave water running until it runs clear. The water is still SAFE and there will not be a need for a boil advisory. We apologize for the inconvenience.
