To clarify, the Village of Frankfort does not have or maintain an “official” Facebook group. There are some groups created by residents, but our staff does not play any role in the admin of these groups nor do we monitor these groups for communication.

We do regularly post communication here on this page and we encourage residents to like and share with your fellow residents. If you have a question, the best way to communicate with the Village of Frankfort is to call our office at (740) 998-2896 during office hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00AM-3:00PM. If you need to call outside of these hours, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

Heads up for residents of the village. Your polling location for the November 2026 election has changed to the Warrior Wellness Center located at 169 W High St.

The Ross County Board of Elections has moved voting for four Concord-area precincts to the Adena Warrior Wellness Center. See link below ⬇️

Adena Local Schools will resume classes on Thursday, August 20. Please be alert to school buses traveling throughout the village and surrounding areas. Slow down and allow yourself plenty of time to navigate an increase in traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times. Please observe all posted speed limits and school zone reduced speed when signals are activated.

TONIGHT in front of the Village Municipal Building - 20 N Main St. No registration required, just stop by between 5:30-6:30PM and pick up your school supplies to start the year off right!

The Village of Frankfort and all water customers serviced by the Village of Frankfort water system remain under a BOIL ADVISORY until 10:30PM on Monday, August 17, 2026. This is out of an abundance of caution following a water line break yesterday evening.

💦 Service has been restored to all customers. You may notice some discoloration. Let your water run until it is clear, then boil your water before consuming.

What should I do?

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

Water Department Update: 8/16 at 10:30pm: Water service has been restored. You may experience some discoloration or water in your lines. Let your water run to clear it out. Out of an abundance of caution, we are issuing a boil advisory for 24 hours ending at 10:30pm on Monday, August 17, 2026.
