Attention college students! Find your fit at PPC through a paid internship. Team Kentucky and the Public Protection Cabinet are now accepting applications. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited Kentucky post-secondary school or other educational institution approved by the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet and be in good standing with the school with at least a 2.5 grade point average at the time of hire. High school students who are enrolled in college-level courses with a 2.5 GPA may also qualify and apply to participate in the program. TeamKYIntern.ky.gov

The Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Commission is hosting two training sessions for boxing and mixed martial arts official referees and judges on March 11, 2023, at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville.

The training will be conducted by the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports. Training subjects include qualifications, ethics, appearance, pre-flight duties, licensing, and other pertinent topics.

The walk begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30; registration starts at 12:30 p.m. Walk and collect much-needed dollars for more than 1,000 Kentucky charities who work hard to help our neighbors in need.
