KCADV was founded in 1981 as a statewide coalition whose members are the 15 domestic violence programs serving every county in Kentucky. These shelter programs offer shelter and services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, as well as their dependent children. Please visit the "About Us" section of the KCADV website for more information about who we are and the work we do.

This Memorial Day, we express our profound gratitude to our fallen service members and hold their families in our hearts. May we honor their sacrifice by working to create a future in which everyone can live and thrive in safety and peace.

ZeroV’s domestic violence programs serve all people, including our dedicated active service members and military veterans experiencing IPV. If you or someone you know is experiencing DV, our programs are here for you. Find your local program's hotline at zerov.org/shelter_programs or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800.799.SAFE (7233).

Our communities depend on federal grants to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. In just one day, ZeroV’s domestic violence programs served 1,411 survivors with lifesaving domestic violence services they depend on to keep themselves and their children safe. Call or email your congressman and ask that they urge the DOJ and HHS to immediately publish NOFOs and expedite the release of congressionally appropriated funds. Survivors can’t wait.

Federal funding is critical to ensuring survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault can access lifesaving services and support. Funding delays have real and immediate consequences for survivors and the programs they depend on. Call or email your congressman and ask that they urge the DOJ and HHS to immediately publish NOFOs and expedite the release of congressionally appropriated funds. Survivors can’t wait.

This year’s Family Violence Prevention and Services Act ( ) funding should have begun on October 1, 2025. But the funding notices haven’t even been released yet – and it will take another 6-9 months to receive funding once they are. This means that ZeroV’s domestic violence shelters and programs will face months without core funding that helped them serve over 14,000 adults and children in fiscal year 2025 alone. Call or email your congressman and ask that they urge HHS to immediately publish NOFOs and expedite the release of congressionally appropriated funds. Survivors can’t wait.

Today, ZeroV joins domestic violence and sexual assault programs across the nation in support of urging Congress to release the critical funding that allows our programs to provide lifesaving domestic violence services that victims and survivors depend on. Join us for NNEDV’s National Days of Action to urge the release of these appropriated funds to fund lifesaving domestic violence services and prevent gaps and delays in service provision that risk survivor safety. Call or email your congressman and ask that they urge the DOJ to expedite the release of congressionally appropriated funds. Survivors can’t wait.

This week, members of ZeroV’s Housing Team join advocates from across the nation at this year’s Housing First Partners Conference (HFPC) in San Fransico, CA!

All week long, ZeroV Housing Case Managers have had the opportunity to network with other advocates, expand their housing knowledge base, and learn programming and best practices that enhance their case management skills.

Through professional development opportunities like HFPC, we can continue to grow our ability to better serve survivors and children by providing them with the stability of a home and the supportive services they need to thrive.

Thanks to the generous support of The Allstate Foundation, ZeroV staff recently spent a day connecting through team-building and self-care. đź’™

This work can be heavy, and taking time to care for ourselves is essential. From candle-making and massages to a fun outing at Activate Games, staff had space to relax and recharge. We closed the day by coming back together to share a meal and reconnect as a team.

We’re grateful for The Allstate Foundation’s investment in the well-being of those who stand alongside survivors every day.
