It's Day 13!

While children do better when they are placed with family or fictive kin, kinship families face emotional, legal, and financial challenges. The more opportunities young people have to stay connected to community and family traditions when they cannot safely stay with their parents, the more they are able to mitigate the impact of adversity.

Kentucky should ensure children in kinship care get the support they need to maintain stability and thrive.
