Our friends at Ohio EMS for Children - EMSC want a little competition. Come on Kentucky, let's keep that response rate climbing. Every ED should complete the new national benchmarking NPRP assessment!

๐Ÿ“Š Ohio EDsโ€”Letโ€™s Push Our Pediatric Readiness Response Higher!

Ohio is currently at 9% participation in the National Pediatric Readiness Project national assessment. With 222 emergency departmentsโ€”the 4th highest number in the countryโ€”our response rate naturally grows differently than states with fewer EDs.

But readiness matters for every child, in every community.

โญ The NPRP assessment helps EDs understand their current level pediatric readiness and identify opportunities to strengthen emergency care for children. Each completed assessment contributes to a clearer, stronger picture of pediatric readiness. Scores are non-punitive and are not shared. You will also receive FREE tools and resources immediately following completion.

๐Ÿ Goal: Push Our Response Rate Higher by May 31
Weโ€™re on the move โ€” but we want as many EDs as possible to complete the assessment before the deadline.

๐Ÿ”ฅ A Little Friendly Borderโ€‘State Motivationโ€ฆ
Our neighboring states are on the board too:

Michigan (โ€œthat state up northโ€) โ€“ 18%
Kentucky โ€“ 15%
Indiana โ€“ 7%
Pennsylvania โ€“ 3%

Ohio is right in the competitive mix โ€” and we know how much Ohioans love a good race with certain states to the north. Letโ€™s show the region what Ohio teamwork looks like.

๐Ÿ‘‡ Share this post with your ED contacts and help Ohio rise before May 31!
Work with your ED team and visit https://www.pedsready.org/ to complete the assessment today.
