The Green County Public Library is proud to announce we are an official Pearson VUE GED Testing Center! That means patrons can now come here to take their GED.

GCPL received a grant from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) to become a certified GED testing site, making it easier than ever for members of our community to take this important step toward their educational goals.

Visit the GED scheduling website to register for your exam or stop by the library if you have questions about the testing process.

We are currently scheduling GED testing on Tuesdays.

Congratulations to our newest GED recipient, Thomas Williams. Thomas, a stay-at-home dad, was an excellent student. Always kind, with a smile on his face. He showed up for classes, knew when he needed more study time, and was determined to put this chapter behind him. His next step is college. We can see Thomas have a fulfilling future and we wish him all the luck in the world.

Congratulations, Thomas!

Cailey has been attending evening classes in Nortonville, and she had this to share: “Every small study session brings real success. If you can put your mind to it then you can do it. She said she believed she could so she did!”
