Be on the look out for 2 brown hound dogs both males names are Scooby he has a blue collar and Koda is the other he has a green camo collar they are about a year old. The wind pushed the door open and they left. This happened between 6-8am this morning. Would be much appreciated thanks from the address 502 Washington Ave Aaron and Dana

212 IS OPEN!!!!! Spread the word!

212 update!!!!
The west side after the James River Bridge is still under construction however, we have been told that it can be used for our function on Veterans Day. Keep in mind that it is not finished and you will need to travel at your own risk. However, we do have permission to use it for Veterans Day.
The DOT plans on Chip sealing that portion of 212 beginning on Thursday this week. At that time no traffic will be allowed on it for three days.

I spoke to the Huron department of transportation to a person named Brad who gave me an update on 212. At the moment it is closed from the bridge past Fisher’s Grove. They will be priming the road tomorrow with oil. Next Tuesday they will be adding the chip seal, which has to sit for three days And then we would have to wait until the following Tuesday to use the road. The DOT thinks it will be done by the 14th. The signs still have to be added and the road has to be striped. we are absolutely not supposed to use it any farther than 395. We can turn south on 395 to go to Redfield. Julie Ratushny.

396 across 212 & 212 to 393 exits are open for Frankfort residents. Safety features need to be placed before fully open. Please be patient. Rain might delay.

212 THIS WEEK
Both exits North of town are closed.

This is one way locals can go to Redfield:

Washington (396) south just past the bridge to 177 Right (west) on gravel ( to the dead end)1 mile to 395

Then right (north) around curves & turn left (west) on 174 just before the bridge
West to 392 Then north (right) on 392 to 212. Left on 212 to Redfield.

Both North exits on 212 will be closed Oct 20 all week. It will be oiled. DO NOT drive on it. When it reopens, 212 will be fully open. We will post.
