On Friday, Governor Andy Beshear, Senior Advisor Rocky Adkins, and local leaders spoke, in Ashland, about why now is the time for Pre-K for All.

Expanding preschool access helps Kentucky's kids start off strong, will let up to 70,000 parents get back work, and build the foundation that Kentucky needs to succeed into the future.

States like Alabama and West Virginia already have Pre-K for All programs. Kentucky's kids and families deserve that same opportunity.

Pre-K for All will help Kentucky's working families. By expanding preschool access, families across Kentucky will be able to save thousands of dollars per year in child care costs and get back into the workforce.

Studies show that with Pre-K for All, every $1 invested gives back $10 in reduced social costs, increased employment, and an expanded economy. That helps Kentuckians now and into the future.

Yesterday, Governor Andy Beshear, Senior Advisor Rocky Adkins, and Executive Director Sam Flynn spoke with law enforcement leadership from across Kentucky about the importance of Pre-K for All.

We've seen in the data that when kids attend pre-K, they are more likely to have a job, less likely to get addicted to drugs, and less likely to be arrested later in life. By starting our kids off strong now, we help our communities later.
