The August luncheon will feature keynote speaker Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber, the state's largest, broad-based business advocacy group. She is the first female president for the chamber.

Time: Doors open at 11:00 a.m., event begins at 11:30 a.m.

Sinders is a former Fortune 100 executive at a cable and broadband company, Charter Communications/Spectrum, and prior to that, oversaw advocacy work for the government affairs team of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade on Capitol Hill as a policy strategist in multiple chief-of-staff roles for previous senators.

The Sparkling Success Leadership Series, hosted by Mayor Sheets, was created to provide meaningful opportunities for local leaders to gather, learn, and connect through the voices of influential women who have shaped communities across the state. Each luncheon offers intentional space for professional networking, shared learning, and thoughtful conversation over a welcoming lunch setting. Sponsorships are available for both the annual series or per event.

“Ms. Sinders is leading an organization of stakeholders within our state that strives for us to want to live, work, and do business here,” said Mayor Sheets. “I look forward to hearing and being inspired by her collaborative work across Indiana.”

Doors will open at 11:00 AM for networking and photos. Tickets are $25 per person and include lunch and refreshments. Payment may be made by cash, check, or card (a 3% service fee applies to card transactions).
