In case you missed it! Merry Christmas to Bardstown! A great stop on the Peppermint Trail!!
Here is a small sampling of all the things you can do today and tomorrow on the Peppermint Trail!! These activities bring joy to all and while bells are ringing and carolers are singing make sure those cash registers are ringing too! This is an important time for our small businesses who also help sponsor these activities.

The Peppermint Trail has been busy and you've still got plenty of time to shop. You never know who you might see on the trail. Even Santa and the Mrs. made a stop because they know all the best gifts come from shopping local!

We wrapped the conference in Scottsville today with a great walking Mr. Muddle presentation from our KHC colleague Katie Wilborn. Ada Oliver discussed branding and telling your story. Katherine Sikura, the great granddaughter of Cal Turner who started the original Dollar General store provided the history of the business and the families philanthropic work. We had amazing food and ended the evening with the First Friday event.
Today was a great day in Murray. Joe Darnell gave us a great tour of a wonderful, award winning adaptive reuse of a tobacco prizing house. We also discussed historic rehabilitation tax credits that were used in the project. Murray director, Deana Wright provided great presentations on making your town a destination and Murray mural projects, Dr. Silva provided the impact study of KYMS and we participated in painting a mural in the Atrium building, another building in the process of adaptive reuse. Tomorrow Gotta Go to Guthrie and you should too!
Here are just a few cool things to check out in Beattyville! Just down the road from RRG and Natural Bridge makes it a great day trip or a visit while attending LAW. We had a great visit there today.
