Green Twp Vol Fire Dept Franklin Furnace OH is hosting their Fire Prevention Parade with activities to follow at the Fire Department @
144 Gervais Road. Visit their page for more details. Parade starts at 11 so be mindful that the on-ramp @ Bobcat lane will close for through traffic for the duration of the parade and about 10 minutes prior to the start.

For safety concerns/purposes restrooms at the senior building next door will be open. Doors to the station will be closed/secured. They are keeping the crews safe so they can respond to you when you need help as well as doing some work inside the building.

Come bring your kiddos & learn about fire safety, get some great pictures and enjoy the beautiful fall day.
It’s Time to buy the batteries for the smoke detectors for the upcoming time change & check the expiration date of your fire extinguishers!

If you have CoVid or symptoms of CoVid, or have general illness and fever please follow your health care provider’s orders or stay in your vehicle to enjoy the parade-we’ll see you next year for other activities.
