We have alot of this in our first and second due areas and wanted to elaborate further. Please take into consideration when building or buying property or even at your current residence, will a fire truck make it in here? Most of our apparatus are over 10ft tall. With that, help us protect your property by having a large access for our units to respond to your emergency. Also, accurate and appropriate signage for your residence is an enormous help to us. Remember, Every second counts when life and property are in danger.

Franklin Grove Fire Protection District is accepting sealed bids for a 1978 Chevy Truck. The Vehicle will be sold as is. Sealed bids can be submitted to the Franklin Grove Fire Protection District, P.O. Box 416, Franklin Grove, IL 61031. Bids will be accepted until June 10 at 5:30 PM. Please write “Chevy Bid” on the outside of the envelope. The Bids will be opened and read at the June 10 Fire District Meeting that starts at 5:30 PM. The Fire District has the right to reject any or all bids. Please Call 815-677-3854 for further information. Truck can be viewed at the Fire Station, 128 Whitney St, Franklin Grove.
