At approximately 1:50am crews were dispatched to 287 South at exit 59 for a vehicle off the road with reported entrapment. Chief 330 and 340 arrived on location and found a vehicle into a tree with the driver heavily entrapped. Rescue 3, Engine 334, Squad 3 and Oakland Rescue performed a dash displacement and crews then had to utilize sawzalls and our brake pedal cutter to remove the plastic and metal around the the drivers feet in order to free him. The drivers was removed from the vehicle approximately 1 hour after crews arrived on scene and turned over to and Valley Paramedics. Thank you to and

This morning, FLFD responded to 208 South at Summit Ave for a car fire. Squad 332 and Engine 334 extinguished and overhauled the car. Units were back in service within an hour. Thanks to our brothers in blue for their assistance!

This evening, crews continued training on an acquired office complex. They practiced pumping, stretching hose lines, and using the aerial as a flying standpipe.
