UPDATE
Traffic Alert --- Lane Closures on Grand Avenue - Expect Delays!

At least two lanes of traffic will be closed on Grand Avenue on Monday, June 1 from 6 AM to 5 PM and three lanes will be closed on Tuesday, June 2 from 10 AM until 2 PM. On Wednesday, June 3, three lanes will be closed from 10 AM until 1 PM and then two lanes closed until 5 PM.

La Grange Crane will be setting up a crane, generators and other equipment on West Grand Avenue from the Railroad Underpass to approximately Martens Street causing multiple lane closures. Flaggers will direct traffic through this area. Watch for signs and slow traffic. Consider alternate routes.

Everyone is invited to attend Saturday events sponsored by the Park District of Franklin Park at the new Plaza in downtown Franklin Park at the corner of Franklin Avenue and 25th Avenue.

Start your summer on the right note at the Library’s Summer Reading Kick-off Party! Bring your family and friends, pick up your reading packet, and partake in the plentiful outdoor activities. Offerings will include a foam party (bring mess-ready clothes), bounce houses, music, outdoor games, ice cream, & face painting. The Village’s annual event, co-sponsored with the American Legion Post 974, will be held on Monday, May 25, at 11 AM at the Veterans Monument, west of Village Hall. The event will pay tribute to our deceased Franklin Park veterans from all branches of service and feature an honor guard, a ceremonial presentation of the memorial wreath, and more.
