The Leyden Fire Protection District is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Small Equipment Grant from the Illinois State Fire Marshal in the amount of $25,000.
These funds will be used to purchase vehicle extrication equipment.
This grant will help provide us with the latest state-of-the-art equipment for dealing with vehicle accidents.

Today also serves as a reminder to prioritize stress reduction, self-care, and mental health awareness for the dedicated men and women of EMS.
