Congratulations to Path2Growth on the grand opening of their new location in Garden City!

I was happy to join the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and Path2Growth founder Dr. Samara Toussaint in celebrating this exciting milestone. Path2Growth is a mental health counseling group dedicated to helping individuals ages 2 through 65 navigate a variety of mental health challenges. Their commitment to providing support and guidance to individuals and families is a welcome addition to our community.

Eleanor is a remarkable World War II veteran who courageously served our nation as a combat nurse in North Africa and Italy. Her lifetime of service, strength, and dedication is truly extraordinary.

It was an honor to join Hempstead Town Supervisor John Ferretti, TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll, Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray, my Town Board colleagues and Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder for the Town of Hempstead Police Service Awards, recognizing the outstanding men and women in law enforcement who go above and beyond in service to our communities.

I was especially proud to recognize several exceptional members of law enforcement who serve the communities of the 2nd Councilmanic District: Garden City Police Officers Christopher Caiazza and Michael Titterton; 3rd Precinct Sergeant Thomas Ruhle; 3rd Squad Detectives John Connelly and Michael Gironda; 5th Precinct Officer Patricia Espinosa, who was honored posthumously; and 5th Squad Detective Carolyn Wilson.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees, and thank you for your continued commitment to the residents you serve!

Another wonderful homecoming celebration at Garden City High School!

I was proud to join TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll and march alongside Garden City Mayor Ed Finneran. This year's parade honored Grand Marshals; retired Homestead Principal Dr. Suzanne Viscovich and retired Police Commissioner Kenneth Jackson. It was great to see so much school spirit throughout the community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special tradition such a success.

What a great weekend celebrating homecoming at H. Frank Carey High School!

I was happy to join Nassau County Legislator John Giuffré, Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray, TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscolland Assemblyman Ed Ra for a wonderful day filled with school spirit!

It was great to see the cheerleaders, marching band, homecoming court, Carey Dads’ Club, alumni association and so many families come together to celebrate this special tradition. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, and congratulations to the entire Carey community on a fantastic homecoming!

What a wonderful day at the Village of New Hyde Park’s 29th Annual Street Fair!

I was happy to attend alongside TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll and enjoy a great day filled with community spirit! It was a pleasure to see Mayor Chris Devane, members of American Legion Post 1089, the New Hyde Park Junior Firefighters, and so many wonderful residents and community organizations.
