Prep for pipe bursting on 14th
No subcontractors scheduled this week

Traffic impact:
14th: Liberty – Franklin / Road closures & "No Parking" restrictions
Elk & Otter: 13th – 15th / Road closures & "No Parking" restrictions
Contractor met with school officials: School buses will be permitted to turn onto 14th & onto Elk

Police officer Andrew Youngs was sworn into duty Tuesday afternoon at Franklin City Hall. Mayor Douglas Baker conducted the ceremony for Officer Youngs, who joins the Franklin Police Department after having served in emergency services for several years in the Meadville area. He worked as a fireman and a 911 dispatcher before completing his police officer training. After the ceremony, Officer Youngs was congratulated by Police Chief Aaron Campbell and Detective Matthew McConnell, as well as his family, other police officers and city staff.
