House of Delegate candidates, Les Mallow and Steven Schetrom, visited the Franklin Senior Center today! They stopped by to spend some time with our seniors and staff, listen to the concerns and issues affecting our community, and hear directly from the people who live and work here. We truly appreciate them taking the time to stop in and listen to what our seniors had to say.

What a wonderful evening we had yesterday at Pendleton Senior & Family Services! Our Luau Evening Meal was filled with good food, great music, plenty of laughs, and a little friendly fishing competition!

A BIG THANK YOU to the Friends Run Church Sunday School for sponsoring our evening meal! Your generosity helped make this special evening possible, and we truly appreciate you thinking of our seniors. We were also happy to enjoy music presented by choir members from Friends Run Church, along with Carolyn Simmons and the Now & Again Band. Thank you all for sharing your talents and helping make the evening so much fun!

And, of course, our kitchen crew did it again with a delicious meal, as always!

From the food to the fellowship, music, games, and smiles, it was a luau evening to remember! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success! We’re already looking forward to the next one!
