Chloe demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism while serving as the Radio TAC Dispatcher during a recent structure fire. She did an outstanding job accurately parroting and documenting all radio traffic, capturing responder arrival times in CAD, ensuring crews received critical information from law enforcement, and following all policies and procedures throughout the incident.

Behind every successful emergency response is a dispatcher working diligently to keep information flowing and responders informed. Chloe's attention to detail and commitment to excellence helped support a safe and coordinated operation from start to finish.

🎧🚒 Outstanding work, Brooklynn! 🚒🎧 Please join us in congratulating Telecommunicator Brooklynn Cottell for her exceptional performance as the Radio TAC Dispatcher during a recent structure fire.

Brooklynn earned a perfect 100% Quality Assurance score by expertly documenting all radio traffic, conducting and tracking PAR checks, keeping responders informed with critical information, and maintaining professionalism throughout the entire incident.

Her attention to detail, strong communication skills, and calm, steady presence helped support responders on scene and contributed to the successful management of a complex emergency.

Supervisor Jensy Hayes shared photos from the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency COM-T class she took this week with 911 Director Kristy Borden and Training & QA Specialist Taylor Johnson.
COM-T training gives dispatchers a behind-the-scenes look at the technology that keeps responders connected. By understanding how radio systems, interoperability channels, and emergency communications infrastructure work, our telecommunicators are better equipped to support responders, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain reliable communications when every second counts. 🚨📻🎧 Great job 👏 👏👏

Keeping communications strong when it matters most. 📡
This week, 911 Director Kristy Borden, Supervisor Jensy Hayes, and Training/QA Specialist Taylor Johnson have been in Jackson attending Tennessee Emergency Management Agency Communications Unit Technician (COM-T) training. The intensive, hands-on course prepares public safety professionals to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot critical communications systems during emergencies, large-scale incidents, and planned events.

From radios and satellite phones to data networks, COM-Ts help ensure responders can communicate seamlessly when every second counts. We’re proud to see our team continuing to build the skills that support reliable emergency communications across our community and beyond.

Thank you to these two telecommunicators for staffing the Williamson County ECOMM booth at Public Safety Day at The Factory and helping our community learn more about CPR, 911, and emergency preparedness. They are meeting so many future dispatchers, firefighters, police officers, and curious community members!

🐝 Bee-ing Awesome Award: Supervisor Jessica Adcock 🐝
Talk about HIVE-level performance! Over the past several months, Jessica has been recognized for her exceptional work on everything from a vehicle pursuit to a swatting incident involving a reported active shooter at a school, and a structure fire where an occupant was believed to be trapped inside.

Her peers have also recognized her twice for stepping up to help others, encouraging those around her to grow, and even making sure coworkers don't go hungry when they forget their lunch.

As if that weren't enough, Jessica was nominated for the Bill Jorgensen Peer Award and was named Supervisor of the Year!

Over the last few months, Supervisor Ashley Foster has earned recognition for her outstanding performance, teamwork, and initiative. She played a key role during two vehicle pursuits, received praise from responders for her assistance during a missing endangered person incident, and even took it upon herself to keep the coffee bar and restroom supplies stocked.

As if that wasn't enough, Ashley was also nominated for both Supervisor of the Year and the Bill Jorgensen Peer Award, a reflection of the respect she has earned from her coworkers.
