🎉 Sgt. Jesse Babcock is currently in Ewing, NJ supporting the Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games! 👮‍♂️

For decades, law enforcement officers across New Jersey have stood alongside Special Olympics athletes, helping raise awareness, build community, and celebrate the incredible achievements of these competitors. Sgt. Babcock is proud to be part of that tradition, joining athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters from across the state for one of the most inspiring events of the year.

We would like to thank Sgt. Babcock for representing the Franklin Borough Police Department at this outstanding event and for his continued commitment to supporting the Special Olympics movement.

Good luck to all of the athletes competing this weekend! 👏🏃

🏃‍♂️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️This morning, Chief Cugliari, Sgt. Grissom, and Officer Sienkiewicz proudly took part in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run, joining officers from across New Jersey in support of the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.

Along the route, our officers were joined by students from the Franklin Elementary School Track Team and the Vernon High School Track Team, whose enthusiasm and determination helped make the event even more special.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on the runners, and to the students and teachers who brought great energy from start to finish.

A special thank you to our officers working the road today, along with members of the Hamburg Borough Police Department, Bernards Township Police Department, and New Jersey State Police, who assisted with traffic control and helped ensure a safe and successful event for all participants and spectators. 👮‍♂️🫡
