Halloween will be celebrated on Friday, October 31st with trick-or-treating beginning at dusk. Unfortunately, we will not be hosting the annual Chili Cook-Off . . . unless you would like to volunteer to host.

Check your mail-box . . . we'll be distributing the official HOA Meeting Announcement - 10/25/14 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the E-Spaces Gathering Room (Suite 300) of the McEwen Building.

Please join us as we'll be holding elections . . . if you cannot attend, please complete the Proxy and have a neighbor vote in your absence. We need a quorum so come on out!

OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION II

We will be distributing a hard-copy invitation to our annual HOA Neighborhood Meeting later today.

In addition, it will include a PROXY - so, if you cannot attend at 9 AM on October 12th at the Marriott in Cool Springs (Morgan conference room), please have a neighbor vote on your behalf. We need a quorum for our directors' election.

Great News! We were successful at the planning commission meeting tonight and were able to get an approval to have the rear gate from the Artessa Apartments be limited to Emergency Vehicles Only. Three BOMA meetings to go, but Embrey Partners stood up and were helping us make the case. Thanks to Jeano Coffinberry for attending.

Embrey Partners, Ltd will be hosting the 2nd Neighborhood meeting for their proposed Artessa aparment complex.

The meeting will be held at The Drury Hotel on Thursday, March 21st at 6 PM. The RG HOA Board of Directors remains on the record that we oppose any additional traffic on Jordan Road beyond emergency vehcile access to any development.

Please make your neighbors aware of this meeting (a written notification will be distributed to all RG neighbors).

As noted below and throughout, the RG HOA Board of Directors has been engaged with our Alderman (Bev Burger) and directly with the Embrey Partners, Ltd. executives and their local consultant (Greg Gamble).

We have made it clear that we do not support any form of connectivity to Jordan Road. That said, it has been communicated to us that emergency vehicle access to the back of this property is being requested - as such, we are pushing to limit any access to this location to these emergency vehicles, thereby eliminating any increase in traffic flow.

Further, we must realize that this parcel of land is going to be developed and we need to position our argument in a manner that highlights the concern for the safety of our neighbors and the impact increased traffic flow would have on all of the residents of Jordan Road.

More information will be posted as it is received - please be sure that you get your neighbors involved and engaged. We've already put out one Newsletter to the neighborhood, yet we had limited participation at the City Hall meeting.
