This is my favorite rooster.
Which is exactly why I’m giving him away.
Meet Green Legs & Ham. 💚
I’m not offering him for free because he’s any less valuable than the others. If anything, he’s one of the nicest birds I’ve ever raised. I’m doing it because I believe he’d be happier and safer in a flock where he isn’t outnumbered by larger adolescent roosters.
He’s:
• The smallest
• The most docile
• The only white one, making him an easy target
• Gentle with people and knows his name
• Constantly watching over the hens and scanning for danger
• Social, curious, and confident without being confrontational
• Scrappy when he needs to be, but never the aggressor
And he has the most fascinating look about him—bright lime-green dinosaur legs, a fluffy white m**f, and the sweetest expression.
He’s been hand-raised from hatch, free-ranged, and carries Americana/Olive Egger traits.
If someone can give him a peaceful flock where he can become the gentleman I know he’s meant to be, I’ll gladly let him go—for his sake, not mine.
