The Franklin Police Canine Association is devastated to share the news of the passing of one of our Board of Directors, Lin Bolduc Cunha.

Lin passed away yesterday with her family and loving husband Ed by her side. Lin was a very dedicated member of our K-9 Association. She brought her years of experience and expertise to the table which helped catapult our association in the first few years of it’s existence.

K-9 Miller, Officer Tracy and Sgt. Guerriero were able to visit with Lin during her final days. She was gifted K-9 Miller and K-9 Falco stuffed animals which she grasped tightly. She truly loved our dogs and treated them as her own.

In addition to her duties with us, she was a long time Bail Commissioner in Merrimack County. She also spent several years working at Franklin District Court. Lin formed many relationships with State Troopers and other officers from across the state. She was widely admired for her very giving heart and support of those in blue.

Lin was also well known for her work and involvement with the Franklin Elks Lodge. She was often seen grilling with “the guys” at the drive-thru BBQs, while always sporting her FPD K-9 shirt, of course.

Please keep Lin and her family in your prayers. Services will be posted at a later date.

We love you Lin and will continue to make you proud. 💙🐶

Who remembers this good boy? 🐶

Retired Franklin K-9 Max will be turning 10 years old in March. K-9 Max retired with his handler Officer Dennis Rector in the summer of 2019.

K-9 Max was a certified patrol and narcotic K-9 and proudly served the Franklin Department for 6 years.

K-9 Max and Officer Rector experienced a lot of success during their time together in Franklin. Now both are enjoying retirement life at home.

When supporting the Franklin Police K9 Association, you are also supporting retired K-9 Max. The FPCA was able to purchase a new bed, treats and toys for K-9 Max to enjoy during the holidays.

If you’d like to make a donation to the FPCA and help support K-9 Falco, K-9 Miller and Retired K-9 Max, please visit our website at www.franklinpdk9.com

It’s Giving Tuesday!

On Giving Tuesday, why not get some cool K9 gear too?

One of the best ways to help support the FPCA and your two favorite K9’s is to purchase some of the merchandise on our website. All profits go directly back to the organization!

The FPCA is looking for generous contributions from friends and fans to help make 2022 our most successful year yet!

The Franklin Police Canine Association is a 401 (c) (3) which helps fund necessary gear, training, and other needs for our two K9 teams. Both K9 teams are very active in our greater Franklin community. We absolutely love serving our community in a variety of ways.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation today on Giving Tuesday by visiting our website below:
