Franklin NH Cemetery

Franklin NH Cemetery Michael Mullavey, Board President All areas look respectful and welcoming when they are well tended. New flags and flowers are a personal option.

You, too, can help spruce up your local cemetery by trimming shrubs and finding hidden stones and markers. You are also welcome to ask where you can dispose of old flowers and brush. It's such a great feeling to do this for those whose families are long past or far removed. Join forces with friends and family; your help is welcome, appreciated, and needed.

“We’ll fix you right up!” (Says Aubuchon Hardware … and hopefully you!)
With everyone’s busy schedules, gathering a group of volunteers together for a Cemetery clean up is challenging. Instead, all are invited to pick up fallen branches, rake sticks, etc. when it’s convenient for you. To thank you, you’ll be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to any Aubuchon Hardware. Post before and after pics of your cleanup in the comments to be entered! (Scott and Sarah Stanley are donating the card and will not be entered but have posted pictures to get us started.) Be sure to post your pictures by May 17. The winner will be drawn on May 18. Thank you for helping keep our cemeteries beautiful for our residents.

UPDATE:
Thanks to the dedication and persistence of our staff (Superintendent, Glenn, and assistant, Eva), Frank Edmunds (Board Member), and the City of Franklin Municipal Services team, the water leak has been found and repaired.

We have a water leak that we’ve tried numerous methods to locate.
Our question to you: do you know someone who might be familiar with the water lines in the main Franklin cemetery at 31 Thompson Park?
We welcome you to call our Superintendent, Glenn Laramie, at the cemetery at 603-934-3731. Thank you for helping us spread the word. We know how much water access means to the families honoring loved ones with flowers and are working hard to correct this issue. 💐

24 days until spring! In the meantime, our Geraniums are growing well at the NH Department of Corrections’ Division of Rehabilitative Services. We appreciate their attentiveness to us as first-time flower customers and look forward to seeing their continued growth until they are ready to honor residents of our Cemetery. 🪴
