Macon County Public Library A member of Fontana Regional Library, is located in Franklin, North Carolina and serves your informational, educational, & recreational needs.

Open six days a week, the Library in Franklin serves the area's full-time and seasonal residents with the latest best-sellers, movies, music, free internet access & wi-fi, comfortable reading & study areas, great children's space, information center, wireless internet, and magazines & newspapers. Through our parent organization, Fontana Regional Library, we also offer access to library collections

across the state of North Carolina. In addition, we offer free eBooks, eAudio books, and eMagazines, access to academic databases, free drivers' education resources and more- all you need is a library card!
