Dem bones, dem bones, dem DINOSAUR BONES! Don't forget, Dr. Susan Ray from the Gem and The Gem & Mineral Society and Museum - Franklin, NC has a program here today at 10:00! She will be talking about fossils and dinosaurs, and there will be hands-on activities for the kids. It's going to be DINO-MITE!

It's the start of a busy week in the Children's Department! We look forward to seeing you at the library!

This morning at Toddler's Rock (10:00 am), Sonia Brooks will entertain kids and parents.

If your children are registered for the Art with the Bascom Program, our June session is Tuesday the 16th at 3:30 pm.

On Wednesday, June 17th at 10:00 am, Dr. Susan Ray from the Macon Gem and Mineral Society will help budding geologists unearth the mysteries of rocks and fossils.

Thursday, June 18th at 10:00 am, we have the amazing Bubble Brigade! Two bubble cannons, and twice the fun! This beloved event is presented with the help of our Friends of the Library.

Finally, our free children's movie at 11:00 am this Friday will be Brave.

Hi families! Tomorrow's free movie for kids will be The Croods (rated PG)! It's about the adventures of a prehistoric family who leave the safety of their cave to encounter adventure, danger, and new ideas.

Tasty refreshments provided and books will be offered for purchase through City Lights Bookstore.

Join us for this Egypt-themed escape room in the Children's Department. Can you solve the mystery of the Pyramid, or will you be crying for your mummy?

We'll have four half-hour escape room sessions, starting at 10:00 am. Each session will be limited to 12 fearless explorers.
