It’s with a heavy heart that we share that the LSU AgCenter’s SNAP-Ed program will be discontinued after September 30, 2025 due to changes in federal funding.

For 30 years, SNAP-Ed has helped thousands of Louisiana residents live healthier lives through nutrition education and community support. We have loved serving the people of Louisiana, and we’re incredibly grateful to our partners, clients, and supporters who made this work possible.

We understand this change raises questions, so we provided answers to some frequently asked questions on our website at www.LSUAgCenter.com/SNAPEd

As we prepare for this transition, we will reach out to discuss any ongoing projects and how we can support a smooth transition. While this change is difficult and the road ahead may look different for each parish, the LSU AgCenter’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of Louisiana families remains strong.

We will continue to share updates here and on our website, but please feel free to contact us if you have questions in the meantime. Thank you for being part of our mission to build a healthier Louisiana.

Sincerely,
The LSU AgCenter SNAP-Ed Team
