Since 1994, our Foundation has diligently managed trusts, estates, and memorials in accordance with donors' wishes. We administer 21 separate scholarship accounts, with most awards based on earned interest from designated funds. In 2026, we distributed nearly $20,000 in scholarships.

The Foundation maintains accounts for several local organizations, including the Rose Bowl Theater, Campbell and Hildreth Foundations, Franklin County Cancer Fund, Franklin Masonic Lodge, and TeamMates.

Scholarship Chair Kim Grams collaborates closely with school counselors to appoint a representative evaluation committee. They carefully match applicants with available resources. For over a decade, we have supported Early College Access, currently providing $300 per school year. Students and parents supplement this with tuition ranging from $100 at Central Community College to $274 at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Many participants graduate with 18 to 25 college credits.

In 2025, our county-wide fund drive successfully raised $20,000, which was distributed to area fire departments and nonprofit organizations. Planning for the 2026 drive is already underway.

Our dedicated Board includes Jerrell Gerdes, Thomas Moore, Kim Grams, Shelley Kahrs, Bernie Stratman, Kimberly Wolles-Grams, Harley Scott, and Kelly Trambly. We are supported by Henry Schenker (Attorney), Debra Pederson (Bookkeeper), Dohman, Akerlund, Eddy Accounting, and Eide Bailly Accountants. Our banking partners are South Central State Bank, Cornerstone Bank, and Union Bank and Trust.
