Robertson County Republican Women

Robertson County Republican Women RCRW is actively involved in the community. Each session is a week long. We teach civics, government, and history. The kids make crafts, such as moccasins.

Here are just a few ways that we are involved in the community.
• RCRW has a nursing home project to where we donate items to the nursing homes. We donate items to give to the residents at their nursing home activities.
• RCRW hosts three sessions of VLS (Vacation Liberty School) every summer for kids (free of charge). The three branches of government, and how each branch of government works and T

he US Constitution. They learn how to make butter and they get to eat hardtack. They learn while playing games and we have some wonderful people that come dressed up as persons such as Abraham Lincoln, Molly Pitcher, Betsy Ross, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. The kids sing patriotic songs. They also learn about taxes and are given “play” money and at the end of the day, the kids go to the “store” and purchase items with their money. RCRW purchases items for the “store” for the kids to purchase with their “play” money. The kids watch movies about the history of our country. THE KIDS LOVE VLS THAT MOST CHILDREN KEEP RETURNING YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!
• RCRW distributes dictionaries every year to the 3rd graders. The children are very appreciative of the dictionaries that they receive. This year RCRW received a “thank you letter” from each student for the dictionaries.

Senator Tommy Tuberville has one responses to why our flag is NOT complicated as Talarico espouses.

‘Actually, it’s not complicated James Talarico.

Our flag is a reminder that freedom isn’t free and that countless men and women have given their lives so we don’t have to.

Right now, there are hundreds of thousands of servicemembers ready to do whatever it takes to protect that flag and America. Not to mention all the first responders and law enforcement officers here at home, serving our country every single day.

It’s the flag of the GREATEST COUNTRY IN HISTORY. We are 50 states, but we come together as one country, united under God, indivisible.

That may be difficult for a far-left communist to understand, but to every TRUE AMERICAN, we know what the flag means.’

As Memorial Day approaches, we reflect on the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives for others and for this nation.

Their courage and service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
