May 3rd through 9th is Amphibians Week! Take a moment during your adventures this week to practice curiosity. If you see a pond or a large puddle in a low-lying area, check it out! Is someone living there? Did someone lay eggs there? Different kinds of amphibians living in one place (we call this amphibious biodiversity) is an indicator of good water quality. It is important to protect wetlands and aquatic structures that provide habitat to our semi-aquatic friends and make good, quality water possible!
