The Macon County Fireman's Association was formed to help promote training for the firefighter's and first responders of Macon County. The MCFA hold there monthly meetings on the second Monday of every month. We use this sight to help promote up coming training and events, and updates on all meeting. The MCFA officers are broke down into three positions that are elected by all fire personnel that

are on departments that are members of the Association. President- Benji Johnson
-Benji is the Rescue LT. on Cowee Fire and Rescue and has been on the dept since 2007. He is a level I&II firefighter and Swiftwater Rescue Tech. Vice President- Glenda Cook
- Glenda is a member of Cullasaja Fire and Rescue. Secretary/ Treasurer- Kay Sherburn
- Kay is the Rescue Capt. on Scaly Mountain Fire Dept. Our meeting are welcome to any person wishing to attend. We ask that at least one representative from each attends the meetings.
