As budget season begins, we’re excited to share the Franklin Senior Center’s FY27 Budget Narrative — a snapshot of the incredible work happening every single day thanks to our staff, volunteers, and community 💙
👉 Check it out here: https://franklinma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8912/FY27-Budget-Narrative-FINAL-1 (Page 145-152)
(And if you’re looking for some light reading… the full Town budget book is about 500 pages 😉)
A few highlights we’re especially proud of:
✨ 615 new members and over 2,100 active members
✨ 6,536 programs delivered and 122 unique programs each month
✨ Nearly 19,000 meals served through our nutrition programs
✨ 11,724 hours of respite care provided to support caregivers
✨ 1,785 rides helping residents get where they need to go
✨ 12,029 volunteer hours — an impact that truly can’t be measured
These numbers tell a powerful story — but behind every number is a person, a connection, and a community that continues to show up for one another. We are so grateful for our staff and volunteers who make all of this possible every day.
As hearings begin, we invite you to stay engaged, learn more, and be part of the conversation. Your voice matters.
