The setting is the late 1960s and early 1970s, and the headmaster, an alumnus of the school, wants to make some changes in the school's direction, changes that other good schools are making and have implemented.

My name is Beth Hindman, and I am the manager at Fairview Public Library. I have been with WCPL for a little over a year as my family and I moved back to the area last summer. I have worked in public libraries for 20 years in Mississippi, Indiana, and Tennessee. My favorite part of my job is researching and ordering books for our collections at Fairview. I love to hear stories from our patrons about what they are reading and sharing my love of reading with them. Fairview Public Library is a small, but very vibrant library that is adored by its users, and I feel so lucky to be part of its story.
