Power has been restored to all FEPB customers, at this time. We are still doing cleanup and assessments of damage. If you have an outage, lines down, etc continue to call 270-586-4441 to report!

Currently our fiber team is assisting our electric team to get things done as quickly as possible. If you have an internet outage, chances are they will not get to you today. Continue to call 270-586-4441 to report and we will address as soon as we can.

We are aware of electric outages in Westview Heights and Drew Brooke/Freemont areas. Crews are en route.

Franklin Electric Plant Board is as prepared as we can be for weather related outages due to Winter Storm Fern.

We have an outage map available on our website. You can see the map at www.franklinepb.com. Go to the bottom of the page and you will see Electric Outage Map as a quick link.

We also have a 24/7 dispatch available at 270-586-4441. Keep in mind that if it’s a large outage, you are going to get a recording that says we are aware of the outage. We will be aware and we will be working.

We understand most of the time people just want to know how much longer the power will be out. We will be updating Facebook when information becomes available.

Please treat ANY downed lines you may come across as hot. Be mindful when clearing trees, etc of the potential of lines being in the area.

Our employees are prepped and ready to work if needed. We hope everyone is prepared and hope more that it’s all for nothing! Get your flashlights, candles, etc together now. If you are on oxygen, have a backup plan. Be safe

Franklin Electric Plant Board will be doing a firmware upgrade on some of our routers from 1am to 5am tomorrow morning (Oct 9). Customers may experience a brief outage during this time. Thank you for your cooperation!

Toys for Tots of Southern Kentucky has partnered with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to open a Book Nook in Franklin! This nook is located in front of FEPB's office at 309 N High St. These age appropriate books are offered for free to encourage reading and learning. Come by and get a book!

FEPB Fiber will have a planned Internet outage around midnight tonight (9/8). This will last about 30 minutes for those in the downtown Franklin area and customers around the middle school area. We appreciate your cooperation!

Earlier today FEPB Fiber experienced a wide spread interent outage due to issues our wholesale provider was having. It seems they are having additional issues. Our IT team is investigating. Thank you for your patience!

Areas that will see intermittent outages are Filter Plant Rd, Boat Ramp Rd, Kenny Perry Rd, Housing Authority, W Cedar, Harristown, North St and Williamsburg This will take about 30 minutes and should start within the next 30 minutes.
