The Williamson County Democratic Women group is a member of the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women (TFDW). The purpose of the WCDW is : to encourage and stimulate Democratic women to take an active interest in party matters; to inform Democratic women and the community on major issues of government and politics and to encourage women to run for political office; to sponsor activities of the
Williamson County Democratic Party, the Tennessee Democratic Party, and the Democratic National Committee; and to endorse and actively support Democratic nominees in all general elections.
