4-Hers it is supposed to be very hot. Please bring plenty of water to drink and parents may want to bring umbrellas to help create shade. We will be doing muzzleloader and archery today and will be ending by 11:30 at the latest. Hope to see you there.

Dear 4-Hers,

Since it has rained all night we are going to change locations to indoors. We will meet at the fairgrounds in the Shooting Sports building. It is located in the middle of the Johnson Co. fairgrounds. I will hope to see you all there at 9:30 am.

Dear 4-Hers and Parents,
I am sorry to say that we need to cancel again today. The weather coming through the area of the range shows thunderstorms. Our next Meeting is set for May 3rd, so hopefully we will be through the April showers. Please note that there was a rain date on the calendar, so we definitely are scheduled to meet that day. Thanks for your understanding and we hope you have a wonderful Easter.

🍀 - FairEntry (for Mini 4-H and regular 4-H) - FairEntry will close at 11:59pm on July 1.
🍀 - IQLC or YQCA (regular 4-H members only that exhibit cattle, goats, sheep, swine, rabbits and/poultry
🍀 - Record Sheets (Regular 4-H, Mini 4-H will have a paper record sheets in the back of their project manuals they turn in with the project)

Dear 4-Hers,

We unfortunately have to cancel tomorrow's meeting due to the rain amounts over the past few days and the range not being available. As of right now we will continue to plan on meeting on the future dates planned. I know this will create a bigger gap between dates than I like to have, but I also know Memorial day weekend and graduations are coming up. I may look at trying to come up with a day to throw in for outdoor skills somewhere if possible. If I can come up with something for this, I will let you know through email, our page and our facebook group. I have listed future dates that are schedule as of now down below. Dear 4-Hers and Parents,

I finally have what everyone has been waiting for... the dates for meetings! Yay! It took longer than planned but we are moving sooner each year, which is our goal. 😀 So, below is the list of dates and locations. The 2nd March date location will be posted soon. There isn't a requirement on how many meetings you can make. Each meeting we will go over the main important topics and safety. We will cover different things at each meeting though to keep it fun and interesting. The only thing we ask you to try to have is when you come to the range, try to bring your own safety equipment (glasses, and ear protection). If you do by chance forget it, we do have some to provide, so no worries there, but we are always more likely to do better with our own equipment. Indoor meetings will be from 9:30 am to 11 am and all range meetings will be 9:30 am to 12 pm. I do recommend bringing drinks and snacks to the range, and parents should bring lawn chairs. We do encourage parents to stay if your child isn't driving themselves to the meetings. If you do need to leave, we ask that you bring a 3x5 card with emergency information and numbers. We have never needed to use this but I like to be prepared. Thank you for your patience while I figured out dates with the other leaders and the range. I look forward to seeing you all soon and having another great year. As always if you have questions please feel free to message or text me.

4-H members,

We are going to meet Friday evening at 6:30 pm at the fairgrounds to work on the float.

Then on Saturday the parade will start at 1:00 pm. The parade Line Up will begin at 12:00 pm at Franklin Middle School. We will plan to meet there and drop off there too.

Wear appropriate clothing. Also remember we may be in the sun for a while so baseball caps and sun lotion are good.
