CENTRALHATCHEE!!! You showed up and showed out for our 1st Annual Independence Day Celebration (IDC). Thank you so much for joining us to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. We hope everyone had a great time despite the heat. We loved seeing the park grounds full of our friends, family, and neighbors, talking with each other, and having fun.
We are pleased to announce the winners of our 1st Annual Cake Bake-off, Co****le Tournament, and our pre-registration drawing below. If you know, or see any of these folks around town, give them a big congrats! These will be the champions to beat in 2027!

July 4 is around the corner, and we have some BIG plans in store for YOU! Grab your picnic blanket, beach/lawn chairs and cooling rags (it’s going to be HOT!) and make plans to join the Town of Centralhatchee for our first annual Independence Day Celebration! After you have watched the parade in Glenn or Carrollton, and before the fireworks in Franklin, make plans to stop by the Centralhatchee Park from 1-3 p.m. for lunch and lots of fun. We will have a slew of inflatables for ALL ages, bluegrass entertainment by Highway 5 Overdrive band, Hog Wallar BBQ, burgers and dogs.

Voting for our first annual cake bake-off takes place in the tent from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Registration for the co****le tournament starts at 1 p.m., with games beginning as soon as teams are set. Each competition has a $100 prize! If you have not already received a meal ticket for your family, please make sure you get one when you arrive. REMINDER FOR CENTRALHATCHEE CITY RESIDENTS
If you live within the City Limits of Centralhatchee, the City will cover the cost of your trash permit again this year.

To receive your FREE permit, you must present proof you live within the City Limits by providing a current utility bill or monthly invoice showing your name and address, and a current picture I.D.
NOTE: The letter you received in the mail from the City WILL NOT be accepted as your proof residency.

Please keep in mind city residents can only take advantage of this offer at Centralhatchee City Hall until Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026 you will be responsible for the cost of your 2026 permit. Permits are $75.00 if you are under 65 years of age, and $25.00 for those 65 years of age or older.
