Mountain Valley Volunteer Fire & Rescue Mountain Valley Volunteer Fire & Rescue is a Volunteer Fire/Rescue service in Macon County, NC MVVFR is a completely volunteer fire and rescue service.

Mountain Valley Volunteer Fire & Rescue (MVVFR) was formed in 1994 to serve the rural part of eastern Macon County. MVVFR serves portions of the Watauga, Brendletown, Lyle K**b, C**n Creek, and Wildflower communities of Macon County.

Last Thursday night crew members participated in a SCBA conference corse and drills. These drills allow us to better prepare for real world situations where we can be faced will tight passage ways and heavy obstacles, all while keeping our breathing controlled and conserving air in zero visibility smoked out conditions.
