The holiday weekend has officially arrived. Many people will be traveling throughout the day today and into Monday. During this time we want you all to be safe and to enjoy your down time with friends and family. Here are some tips to help you and your family stay safe. Happy Independence Day Weekend.

ONE WEEK!!! Wow, were down to one week left until the fall festival at our Fire Dept. I don't think you all understand our excitement for this year's fall festival. We invite you all to come out October 26th from 5pm-8pm and join us for a bunch of fun. FREE hotdog dinner. Cake walks. Raffles. Games. Costume Contest. Also our annual raffles and door prizes. So far we have some pretty interesting items and more coming in. A list of a few items are: Weatherby 12 gauge, a FREE guided fishing trip at Santee Cooper in SC (if you have never been Google it. It's worth it), Charlotte Motor Speedway NASCAR All-Star Race tickets, 18 holes of Golf at Mill Creek, an autographed UGA football, Legoland Tickets in Atlanta, 2 night stay at Fontana Village, 2 tickets for Whitewater rafting, tickets for the Smoky Mountain Railroad train ride, and many many more. This just included a few. So y'all come out and enjoy. Meet our fire Dept members. We will also be having the smoke trailer for the kids and do some fire prevention on site. It will be a fun time.

We are excited about this years Fall Festival as well as the Macon County Fair.
This year we have several big items in our raffle and silent auction.
ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?
This year we will be selling raffle tickets at the fair for Weatherby Element Max-5 12ga shotgun. Also a one (8hr) guided catfishing trip for 4 people on the Santee Cooper (which is catfish capital of the south if not the world).
Oh and don't forget, we will be raffling off 2 tickets to Charlotte Motor Speedway to the Sprint All Star Race on May 16th 2020.

We will be at our fair booth on September 12th from 5pm-9pm, September 13th from 12pm-9pm, and September 14th from 9am-9pm.
Come see us there and at our fall festival on October 26th.

Okay all...God has decided to work on our hearts.. on over drive this am...Kelli and I talked and we have a calling and obligation to serve...Saturday we will be having a soup dinner (donation only) at WMFR 5pm until...and hope to feed emergency personal who will be faced w lots of worry and work the days to come as well as the families who will be seeking refuge from this horrible storm as well as ppl in our community. This is last min (which most of you know that’s how I work best 😬) but something we feel passionate about doing.
