Yesterday I was so happy to find Caitlyn Simon and Leah Taylor with her mom and little boy Atticus working in the Japanese garden trying to make it look better. We pulled a lot of weeds and dug up rogue trees trying to grow near our planned trees. It was a beautiful day. And I really enjoyed hearing the conversation and laughter as I pulled weeds. They are planning to make this a semi-regular event. Hopefully you can participate too!

Unfortunately the Japanese garden has been neglected for a year, lacking leadership from within the FCHS faculty. We have high hopes that the new JPN teacher at FCHS will eagerly take on this project started about 6 years ago now.
