☀️ There’s something special about summer skating…

Skating with friends
Trying new skills and types of skating

Summer skating saw adult and rhythmic classes. Can you guess the theme days?

Skaters enjoyed learning how to use a ribbon and untie a human knot. What’s do you think was the color of the summer?

It’s a toss up whether our skaters enjoyed skating with the ribbon, hula hoop, or Jack Skeleton the most but we know our adult skaters will always bring the Finesse team spirit to practice! 🖤🩷🖤🩷

Many skaters worked hard to pass their ISI tests this summer. Keep scrolling to see each skater…

Summer may be coming to an end but we can’t wait to see what fall skating brings!

🫟 “you’re all I can think of…”

We have two pop up classes this week to work on those moves you can’t get out of your head!

9/2 Jumps: Waltz to Axel, this class is for everyone. We’ll work on drills for take off, air position, and landings.

9/4 Spiral into the long weekend. Forwards, backwards, sideways, however you spiral, come practice with us. We’ll have drills for consistency, tips to increase leg height, and a chance to try some unique positions.

More pictures from our end of season banquet 🎉

06/21/2026

We had a wonderful time at our first Finesse Banquet! Thank you to everyone who helped plan and organize this event for our skaters. We were able to recognize all the tests passed this season as well as give out a few special awards.

Miss Congeniality: Svetlana, you are so kind and welcoming to not only your teammates but to everyone you meet. You have made so many friends with skaters from other clubs this season, it’s like you’ve known them for ages. Thank you for being such a wonderful ambassador for our club and for skating overall.

MVP Percentage: Angelica, you have had an amazing season showing off both your technical and artistic sides and growing stronger with each performance. Your first Artistic performance of the season in Lake Placid, even qualified you to compete in the World Figure Sport Championships!

MVP: Rosie, you competed in a whopping 23 solo/partner events this season on top of all your team events! 🤩 You started the season in Beta and finished in Delta all the while competing in every event you could (interpretive, stroking, Solo Compulsories, and solo program). You even took on the challenge of skating on our Freestyle 2 Team Compulsories team like it was no big deal. Your joy for skating is infectious and we can’t wait to see what you do next season!
