The Franklin Education Foundation (FEF) is a non-profit organization that was established to support the Franklin Borough School's programs, students, and staff. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds and use available resources to provide educational materials and programs to students that would otherwise be unavailable in these difficult economic times. Through generous donations and fundrai
sing activities, the Foundation has been able to provide many engaging programs, field trips, and learning materials above and beyond the school budget for Franklin Elementary School students. A third generous gift arrived within the first few years and the Foundation became an organization that could support innovative and creative activities for the children at Franklin Elementary School. Now, through various fundraisers, including the annual June golf outing at the Wallkill Country Club, the Foundation sustains a grant program, field trips with purposeful destinations, and activities that reach beyond the ordinary, for children to discover the world is a big place filled with opportunities to not only dream of but achieve. Today, several community leaders volunteer to serve the Foundation. The trustees are caring and dedicated individuals who support the educational program in Franklin Elementary School. Any donation of any size, participation in the FEF’s activities, and/or moral support for the children at Franklin School is greatly appreciated.
