As we put our beautiful new space back in order before the summer lineup begins, all of us at Franklin Library would like to thank the many people that made our expansion possible.
Jon and Ralph Colby of Colby Builders our extraordinary carpenters, Teddy and crew from Nankervis Trucking, Rob Jordan plumber, Joel Wilson foundation, David Green electrician, Albert Richards exterior painting, Veronica Abbott interior painting, our tireless clerk of the works, Karen Macomber, and our grant writer and designer, Librarian, Cathy FitzGerald.
Our dream was made possible by the generous grants received from The Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation, The Davis Family Foundation, and The Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust.
We want to thank all of our local donors and the Town of Franklin for supporting us on this and many other missions. We really couldn’t do it without you. ❤️
And mostly, an enormous amount of gratitude to Emery DeBeck, our local historian whose generous bequest made this possible. We will be announcing a grand opening of a room dedicated to Emery and his life’s work later this summer. 🌹
