We have this Officer. Not sure he is even human, but to say we are proud is an understatement.

This morning FPD Officer Logan Mack completed the:
MOMENTUS BACKYARD ULTRA hosted by Momentus Personal Training.

The Backyard Ultra follows official last-runner-standing rules where competitors must complete a 4.167-mile loop ("yard") every hour, on the hour until only one runner remains.

Officer Mack finished his race! He completed 104.1 miles in 25 hours, placing 4th out of 225 participants. This exceeded his personal goal of 100 miles.

We are proud of you Officer Logan Mack!

Field Trip Day
Wastewater Treatment Plant

Today we visited one of our co-departments to get a glimpse of what they do on a daily basis. Special thanks to Jason Hopkins for giving some of the Franklin Police Department Officers a tour of the Town of Franklin Wastewater Treatment Plant. Hopkins is the supervisor of the wastewater treatment plant. He and his staff do a fine job making sure the wastewater is safe after its journey through the plant. He educated us on the treatment of “our” wastewater from beginning to end.

Very interesting and informative!

The Franklin Police Department recently consulted with Sol & Son Dual Language Academy to plan and prepare for potential active shooter or intruder incidents. Following this preparation phase, we conducted a drill at the school to allow staff and students to practice the necessary safety protocols.

We were glad to assist in these efforts to make the school a safer environment for learning.

Today’s Active Shooter- Intruder Drill went well thanks to our local Franklin Police Department 🚔👮 Thank you for your time & expertise in helping keep our school safe.
