TOMORROW! ❤️🩸On August 31, first responders from across Williamson County will come together with Williamson Health and Blood Assurance to help strengthen our local blood supply while honoring a Franklin firefighter currently battling cancer.

The blood you donate could be there for a neighbor, loved one or first responder when they need it most.

🐾 Not all rescues happen on two legs! 🚒

When a small dog found itself stuck in a retention pond, WCFR crews from Stations 23 & 24 jumped into action. Engineer Christian Tidmore and crew safely brought the pup back to dry land — wet, but uninjured! 🐶💦

Just another day of being ready to help — no matter who needs us.

⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT | I-840 WESTBOUND CLOSED 🚨

UPDATE: One lane has reopened.

I-840 Westbound is currently shut down near the i65 interchange at Mile Marker 32 due to a commercial vehicle fire.

Williamson County Fire/Rescue, Williamson Fire-Rescue, and Franklin Fire Department personnel are on scene working to extinguish the fire.

Motorists should avoid the area, expect delays, and seek an alternate route this morning.

Please use caution around responding emergency personnel and do not attempt to bypass road closures.

All lanes are back open
*Update (5:55pm)
THP will be opening the northbound lanes.

(2:41pm) Interstate 65 is closed in both directions between the Saturn Parkway and Bear Creek exits while responders work a traffic accident. The interstate will be closed for an extended period, so please plan accordingly for your commute home.
