Huge thank you to our Training LT Jason Suttles and Skyworks for lending us a boom lift to get our training facility painted. It looks great!!! Lt Suttles along with a few other dedicated members spent there Saturday morning painting and cleaning up the training site!!! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in making this possible.

Special thanks also goes out to an amazing member of our community for donating some extra supplies at a last minute notice!!!

It has been a long time coming to get this facility ready, glad we are finally making strides to get it complete.

We at Amity Fire And Rescue are excited and would like to take a second and send a big thank you to a few people. First off, thank you to Johnson county health department for the grant to put up two additional tornado sirens. Thank you to Johnson county REMC for getting the pole and power to the pole set up. Thank you to Randy Schmidt with Schmidt Electric for wiring the siren and hooking it to the panel. Also a big thanks to Edinburgh Fire and Rescue for their ladder to make it all possible.

This one was installed out off of 550 just south of 252 in Amity

Big thanks to Jackie Brockman for being able to coordinate all of this project. It's not been easy.

This is two of three that we are doing at this moment.
Hopefully the third will be going up soon.

This is a very good thing for our area. We are doing our best to get all the warnings out as possible. As we all know mother nature is a very powerful thing. We appreciate all the support from our community... Everyone be safe 🙏
