People in and around Franklinton; Franklin County; Wake Forest; Wake County:

DANGEROUS PE*****LE CHRISTOPHER CARROTHERS (34 y/o) OUT ON BAIL

1. Carrothers arrested 2/13/22 for 6 counts of molesting a minor (4 y/o).
A. Bail set at $200,000. (Family bonded him out.)
B. He NOT be alone with anyone under16.
2. He is currently under investigation for molesting another 3 y/o.
3. In her ruling in a 2/4/22 custody hearing, the Judge stated to the court and directly to Carrothers' girlfriend (pregnant with his baby), it is a finding of fact that Carrothers molested her other child. (GF is still with him.)
4. His employer, Michael Harper (GF's step dad) is aware of this and still employs Carrothers.

What I've said here is public record. There is much more in the public records, but the children must be protected.

If you see him with a minor, please report him to the police. If it is Franklinton PD, please ask for a copy of the reports. (Reports like this disappear at FPD.) Please let me know, too.

Crime Victims' Rights Act

18 U.S.C. § 3771. Crime victims' rights

(a) RIGHTS OF CRIME VICTIMS.--A crime victim has the following rights:

(1) The right to be reasonably protected from the accused.

(2) The right to reasonable, accurate, and timely notice of any public court proceeding, or any parole proceeding, involving the crime or of any release or escape of the accused.

(3) The right not to be excluded from any such public court proceeding, unless the court, after receiving clear and convincing evidence, determines that testimony by the victim would be materially altered if the victim heard other testimony at that proceeding.

(4) The right to be reasonably heard at any public proceeding in the district court involving release, plea, sentencing, or any parole proceeding.

(5) The reasonable right to confer with the attorney for the Government in the case.

(6) The right to full and timely restitution as provided in law.

(7) The right to proceedings free from unreasonable delay.

(8) The right to be treated with fairness and with respect for the victim's dignity and privacy.

(9) The right to be informed in a timely manner of any plea bargain or deferred prosecution agreement.

(10) The right to be informed of the rights under this section and the services described in section 503(c) of the Victims' Rights and Restitution Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 10607(c)) and provided contact information for the Office of the Victims' Rights Ombudsman of the Department of Justice.

How is Suborning Perjury Punished?

Federal laws against suborning perjury set the punishment at up to five years in prison, plus fines. States also punish suborning perjury, which is always a felony and will carry the possibility of at least a year in state prison.

A person charged with suborning perjury in a criminal trial may also be charged as an accessory to the underlying crime in that case, even if she had nothing to do with the crime. For example, suppose a person induced false testimony from a witness in order to conceal the crime for which the defendant was on trial. When people actively attempt to conceal a crime from the authorities, they can be prosecuted for being an “accessory after the fact” to the crime, or simply as an accessory. The suborner could end up being charged not only with suborning perjury, but for being an accessory to the crime charged in the case.

Many of you have already reached out (thank you.. keep them coming!), and it seems one of the most common themes is absence of action or even generation police reports when crimes & incidents are reported. This shouldn’t be common occurrence - period. It’s time to get in the know.
